Yalda Night(Winter Solstice)

To promote international mindedness and cultural awareness, PYP students celebrated Yalda night (the longest and darkest night of the year) during the pandemic in their online classes. They read poetry (especially Hafiz), ate watermelons and pomegranates, and told traditional stories in their classes. All teachers and learning community staff were invited to join a small celebration at school as well.
