Languages
At the Mahdavi Educational Foundation, we believe that language is central to learning, communication, and identity. In the Primary Years Programme, students explore multiple forms of language—spoken, written, and visual—across classroom learning, social interaction, and cultural contexts.
As part of the English Medium Stream, English is the language of instruction and inclusion. Students use English in academic settings as well as in informal environments such as the playground, cafeteria, and school events. This supports their ability to build friendships and collaborate with peers from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
In line with our commitment to multilingualism and intercultural understanding, students also study:
- Persian Literature, in respect for the host country’s language and culture
- French as a Language of Acquisition, introduced through age-appropriate and inquiry-based instruction
Our language programme fosters global citizenship and supports students in becoming confident, respectful, and effective communicators in more than one language.
